Awesome-ness

That's pretty much the best way to describe out Christmas. Thomas got so much, it's really kind of funny because he has no idea, so it's mostly all for me and James :) All in all it as pretty great! Thomas got a fun play set, some great books, a super cute Thomas the train engine plate set, clothes, a toy for his car seat and other stuff I can't remember :) I got a rug for my living room that I have been coveting, some great house shoes, tank tops, a cake stand, clothes, ect. James got a blu ray surround sound system, a million dvds, gloves, books, books and more books, a barnes and noble membership, and so much more! We had a great time celebrating with our families, but don't take my word for it, here are some pictures as proof :) His super cute Christmas PJ's

Christmas Update

Okay, so I decided to write a letter, even though I am not actually sending out cards, this is what it would have said :)

"This year has been great for us! Not only did we get to spend a ton of time together, but we got to add a perfect little baby to our family :) As you may know Thomas entered this world on September 14. A month early! He unfortuatnly had to spend a whole 8 days in the NICU because he was so early, and it was pretty hard on James and I. But we made it, and it was so worth it! He was having a hard time eating, and also had a slight infection around his umbilical cord. He is doing great now, growing all the time! 3 months old already. He can roll over whenever he feels like (which is usually only once a day, then he's sick of it). He can lift up his whole upper body, and can support his body weight on his legs. He is getting pretty at sitting up as well. We got him a Bumbo, which helps a lot!
James has done great this year! He is still in school studying Criminal Justice. And loving every minute of it (well, most of the minutes!) He loved his classes this last semester, Forensics and Criminal Processes. They were very interesting, and he did great! He is still working for NuSkin, and they have been very good to him this year. He does such a great job at working everyday so that I can stay home and play all day with the baby! He is teaching sunday school, and he is the BEST teacher if I do say so myself :) He is a wonderful dad, and he is loving every minute of it. Thomas always gets so excited when James comes home, and he just smiles at him non stop, it's one of my favorite things to do to watch them interact.
I am loving life as a mom! I was able to complete my Associates Degree in April, and I am almost done with my Bachelors as well. Only a little bit long, thankfully. I plan on finishing up with EVERYTHING and graduating college finally by August of 2011. I will have my degree in Business Management with an emphasis in Human Resources. I get to spend my days just hanging out at home with my perfect baby boy, playing with him, cooking yummy food (one of my favorite past times, it's not a chore if you like doing it) taking care of our house (which suprisingly, is enjoyable! I love that it's my home, and that I get to take care of it)
We got to go to Hawaii this year, it was so awesome! Of course I was 7 months pregnant, and I am pretty sure it was 200 degrees the whole time, but it was so great! Beautiful, and so fun!
We live blessed lives, and are constantly giving thanks for all we have been given.
Merry Christmas to everyone we love! We hope you all enjoy your holiday seasons."

Insane Snow!

That's right, we have an insane amount of snow! At least a full foot came down last night, it is AWESOME! Thomas's first real snow storm, and I am so excited to get pictures of him in it! and just in time for Christmas too! I promise to post pictures as soon as I have them! We are also so very excited for Christmas! Our families are also looking forward to it! Thomas will probably have more gifts than we do ;) Merry christmas to all of our friends and family! We love you all! and wish we could spend this holiday season with all of you! Enjoy it :)

Girls Night

Last night I was able to go out with all of my old roomies and celebrate the upcoming marriage of Megan, it was great! We all had so much fun! We went to Bombay house and had amazing food, and then opened gifts at Jenny's house. Unfortunatly Thomas decided to have a total melt down right after dinner, so James brought him to me and I fed him, and missed most of the gift opening, but I still had a blast! It is so fun to see Megan getting married, I love it! And I am so excited for her!

In other news, Thomas is sleeping through the night! He gets a solid 6-7 hours straight, and then also a few more before and after that. But that means James and I go to bed at around 11 and don't have to get up till 5 or 6 in the morning! It's glorious, and it's done so much for my sense of exhuastion. I get to sleep through an entire sleep cycle without interuption! We still haven't made him sleep in his crib all night, we do have him sleep there for a few hours, but when he wakes up at 11 to eat, we bring him into our bed and let him sleep with us. We are slowly working on having him be in his own room, but he's only 3 months old, and we really like having him so close to us!

The NuSkin Christmas party was GREAT! We all had so much fun, Brian Regan was great! We got an awesome canopy at the gift and a gift card to Costco, so we are going shopping this weekend :) Party!

James took one final so far, and did great! He got an A-, go him! He has his final one tonight and then we start to get to enjoy some time off. He gets a whole week off for the holidays (it's split up a little, but still!) and I can't tell you how excited I am for it! I love when he gets time off (especially paid time off!) and I know Thomas loves it. Whenever James is home Thomas just stares at him constantly, he follows him with his eyes and he smiles so big when he hears his voice. It really warms my heart. Thomas has become so smiley, it's just the best. The most rewarding thing ever is when your child smiles at you, it just makes all the world better!

Christmas decorations

That's right, we have ours up, and have for about 2 weeks now :) I got a little over zealous and asked James to get them out before Thanksgiving, and then, being the AMAZING husband he is, he set most of them up for me! I then went through and did them the way I wanted :) and we decorated the tree together. Then, he bought me some more decorations that were for our apartment this year, wonderful garland that I put lights on, it's great! We also have 75% of our christmas shopping done and presents wrapped under the tree. Christmas is so exciting this year, I am so happy to celebrate with Thomas! We got him the cutest outfit with a penguin on it, and it's awesome! We have Christmas parties galore coming up this week, on Wednesday we have the NuSkin party, and guess who is the entertainment..... BRIAN REGAN! Party! and then on Thursday is our ward party. Tonight is my family Christmas party, and then we have James family too. I just LOVE this season, everything sparkles and glitters, and people are all out shopping and getting things for one another, and wearing awesome clothes, it's the best!

Cutest baby, and the best Christmas present ever!
